I assembled this machine in November of the previous year and gradually got everything functioning after a couple of days. This is only my second build yet. There have been no issues since then—no crashes, no errors, nothing out of place. The only recurring thing is that the CPU/DRAM/VGA/BOOT LED blinks on startup and shutdown each time I power it up or turn it off. I’m really curious about why this happens and what I can do. I assume all drivers are set correctly and nothing seems misaligned. Any advice would be invaluable! My setup includes: Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard, MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, Corsair Vengeance LPX, 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB), Intel Core i7-9700 at 3.00GHz, 3200MHz, 8 cores.
Everything is functioning properly. The LED indicators flash while testing each component during startup. If an issue arises, the lights will remain active. Refer to page 19 of your guide, section 18) CPU/DRAM/VGA/BOOT (Status LEDs). These lights indicate if the CPU, memory, graphics card, and OS are operating correctly after power-up. A lit CPU/DRAM/VGA LED suggests a malfunction; a BOOT LED indicates the system hasn't loaded the OS yet.
