LED on motherboard indicates CPU, system fails to start completely
System details: i7-8700k Z390-Gaming pro carbon 64Gb TridentZ Aorus 360mm AIO Sandisk 240GB SSD (2), no GPU, using onboard temporarily. Issue: upon powering on, the EZdebug LED instantly lights up to the CPU and remains illuminated continuously. I’m unsure what’s causing this and can’t boot to a monitor. Any assistance would be appreciated. (Used components, not tested beforehand)
You're currently testing, but it seems you purchased faulty components. You might want to follow the suggestions Tofu provided. After that, you ended up with damaged parts.
It seems nothing resolved. I confirmed there are bent pins on the board—do you have any ideas about fixing them, or does this look like a permanent issue?
You didn't take off the CPU socket cover before placing the CPU. The connections seem to be straight, not bent.
He sold it without a CPU socket cover: these pins look bent, maybe a needle can help
