LED on CPU board appears despite RAM not being installed.

Hi everyone, I'm assembling a PC and all components except RAM are here. I still wanted to test everything without them, so I connected everything. I noticed the yellow DRAM indicator on the motherboard was lighting up, and my CPU also had its red light on. I've repositioned my CPU a few times and inspected all the pins for damage. I also checked if the CPU fan was powered and connected, but I haven't managed to silence that red light. Is it normal for the red light to appear without RAM? Should I be concerned that the CPU isn't working? My CPU is a Ryzen 7600 and the motherboard is MSI B650 gaming with Wi-Fi. Here are the motherboard debug lights. Thanks in advance!

The processor, which contains the memory controller, is fine with the absence of DRAM. That's expected.

They're right about RAM being essential. A computer can't function properly without it. The red indicator shows up because the CPU manages the RAM.
