Hello, I just built my first computer on Saturday. Everything was fine and ran on the first attempt. However for the past 2 days ive noticed something strange. Usually if I dont use my PC while its locked for 30 minutes or more, the fans shutdown, RGB is still glowing, I get a red Debug LED indicating that the CPU isnt working and the power button is blinking. However after I press the Power button, the PC turns on and runs perfectly fine, however the red EZ Debug LED doesnt go away untill I restart my system. Does anyone know what this means? Is there a problem with the motherboard or is that normal? Heres the full list of parts incase that helps: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/G7yyFg Also, no I havent updated my motherboards BIOS. The only thing I did was enable XMP, Install windows and download the motherboard drivers for Wifi and Bluetooth. Edited June 7, 2022 by OrangeLibra

Check if adjusting your sleep duration to one minute triggers the system to enter sleep mode automatically.

It seems the issue persists even though the PC functions normally. The LED remains active until you restart or power off the machine.

It appears the MSI Z690 DDR4 boards experienced odd sleep behavior. Some users resolved it by updating the BIOS. Relevant threads and support pages are listed above. Starting with a BIOS update seems like a good first step.

Hi, I saw the same problem with my board JW. If you have a solution, please share it—I’m checking if there’s anything affecting my CPU performance. Just confirming everything seems normal so far.
