Hi everyone, welcome to the first post here. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with my computer. I don't remember exactly what happened recently, but I noticed the power LED starts blinking right after I turn it on. The rest of the time, everything seems normal. Usually, when I power it up, the LED stays off for about 10 seconds—maybe a quick memory check—then it flashes fast for two seconds before settling back on. Now, instead of staying on after that flash, it keeps blinking steadily: one second on, one second off. This only happens when I start the computer after it's been off. When I restart it, the LED works properly again and stays lit. Also, if I put it to sleep, the LED turns off, but when I wake it up from sleep, it stays on as usual. I'm using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D in an Asus Prime B650-PLUS. The problem started with an older BIOS version (1656), and after updating to 1811, it still happens. I've built several computers, but I'm not sure why this is happening. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks a lot!

Hey, thinking through this, it seems the issue comes from my monitor being too sluggish and the motherboard failing to recognize the display. The MSI Optix G241 via DisplayPort is slow to react when a video signal appears. This was always true but didn’t affect me much (sometimes 3-5 seconds delay). After switching to just the MSI monitor, the BIOS thought I had no display because it couldn't wake fast enough. Now the power LED moves slowly, hinting at a VGA fault, yet Windows boots normally once the monitor finally comes online. I’m unsure what to do—maybe extend the POST screen time and check later.
