LED light flickers during startup occasionally.
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to figure out a problem with my new system. I have a 3600x setup with an Asus Tuf Gaming x570 and a MSI Gaming 2070 Super. Most of the time it boots up fine, but occasionally I notice strange behavior during reboots—like a white LED on the motherboard (it says VGA according to my manual). The RGB lights also flash rapidly, and they’re all connected to my ARGB header. I’m not sure what’s causing this. Thanks for any advice you can give.
The light indicator continues to function regardless of the PC being within the OS. There is one RGB component connected to the single ARGB header.
It's odd you're experiencing this, but one of your boots didn't receive a signal after disconnecting and reconnecting. I'll check the GPU again. Regarding the RGB, since you only have one ARGB header, consider using a dedicated RGB cable or switch to ensure proper color output.
The VGA light problem is resurfacing again. I'm not entirely certain yet, but it looks like it might be linked to one of my monitors. I have two units—a ViewSonic XG2402 and an Asus VG248QE—and it appears to occur when the ViewSonic is connected. I've already tested each monitor separately after reboots and swapped cables to eliminate a faulty connection. I'm hoping someone can offer insights into why this monitor might be causing the issue. I also have a 1060 that I might consider replacing for additional testing.
