Hello. The red LED you noticed is between the 24-pin connector and RAM, not one of the standard POST indicators. It wasn’t listed in the manual and there’s no label nearby. I recall it flashing when I first installed the system, but everything functioned normally. After a BIOS update it turned off again. Recently, during an overclock test, the light returned and everything seems stable now. Could this be related to the RAM or power stability? Your setup includes a 2TB 16GB RAM kit running at 3600MHz with XMP profiles, paired with a PBO Corsair HX750i and a Ryzen 3900X on maxed-out settings.

It's a status light showing XMP is active. That's it. Wishing you a great day. Keep up the good work!

I possess an MSI MB with the same feature displayed, and it's also OC. It pulses, though I believe this relates to the Mystic Light configuration, which allows adjustments for a reason.

It's okay to cover the LED with electric tape, but make sure it doesn't damage the circuit or affect performance.

Can't find any reason it shouldn't work. It won't overheat, so that's good. The main concern is whether the tape will actually improve appearance compared to the LED.
