You've just assembled your PC and everything is functioning well. The main issue is that sometimes the keyboard and mouse stay lit even when the computer is completely off. You've tried different components but haven't resolved it. When you shut it down, you need to unplug the power supply and press the power button to stop it. No BIOS settings helped so far. This might be related to the new motherboard or power circuitry. Consider checking the power cable connections and ensuring the PSU is properly seated.

The mainboard is likely the issue; you might need to check the BIOS settings for power over USB after turning it off.

Occasionally USB ports continue supplying power to the USB device even when it's switched off. The mouse stays lit unless you disconnect the cable.

ASUS includes a setting named "EuP ready" in the BIOS. Turn it on and your issue should resolve. It’s a feature that helps charge USB devices when the PC is off. Interestingly, you need to activate it to prevent it from disabling.

Check the fast startup setting in power options, then it should work fine

Many motherboards include at least a few USB ports that remain active continuously, even when features like "Wake on keyboard press/mouse click" or "Wake on LAN" are turned on. Review your BIOS settings and disable these options; the USB ports might turn off once the system powers down. These connections draw power from a 5V standby wire in the power supply. If this happens, relocate your keyboard’s USB jack to a different port. Most keyboards have only 2 or 4 active USB ports after shutdown, so moving it outside those will resolve the problem if disabling the features doesn’t help. Some boards also feature dedicated "always-on" USB ports or fast-charging connectors for powering devices while the system is off. You’ll usually see a logo or embossing on the metal casing near these ports to indicate which ones should be avoided.

I assume you're referring to adjusting the alignment of the text. The yellow plastic near the letter "G" should be shifted down as requested.

Thank you for your response; the solution helped initially. But after upgrading to BIOS version 2501, changing the plastic down caused issues.
