It seems you're questioning why a case is needed when the build cost alone is $78.36 for a PC. Just consider using a shoe box as an alternative.

I prefer a fully functional refurbished setup with the operating system included, just a bit more expensive—around $30 extra. These are available regularly and can be used continuously throughout the day.
