Hey! I'm working on my own mini build using a 3D printed PC case. I need a machine for voiceovers at my studio and something capable of light gaming. I had to make everything myself, so it's as it comes. I designed and printed the case, which uses an ATX power supply. It was built to fit a full-size ATX PSU, but it's only 90% done—missing the power button and front USB ports. Now I want to squeeze out maximum performance.
I have an Asrock B550m ITX/AC Ryzen 5 5600G (Wraith Stealth cooler now) and a Kingston Fury 2400 8GB (two sticks, black or red). My main issue is overclocking. I tried boosting RAM from 2400 to 3000MHz with specific timings, but it crashed after about four hours in AIDA64. After that, 3000MHz worked fine until errors popped up. I’m not sure how to get the right timings—just adjusted from Zen calculations and didn’t include all settings.
For the CPU, I overclocked it to 4.5GHz at 1.35V, but it’s still unstable. I used manual overclocks (PBO) because my BIOS settings differ. I’m worried about the APU failing if I push it to 4600 or 1.4V. My guess is the RAM might be the culprit, or maybe the timing is off. Could someone help me? Thanks a lot!
