The main online feature is the 4-player co-op heists, which require several initial tasks before the actual heist. Alternatively, you can simply explore and tune into the radio broadcasts.
Beginner advice? Save scripts for menus to progress and earn lots of money, or wait for a modder to share it. Or, install FiveM and enjoy genuine roleplay. GTA Online has been heavily altered by modders for years and is considered poor on PC. The same applies to RD Online.
I understand your perspective... I invested 1800 hours in GTAO, approached it with seriousness, and hoped for genuine anti-cheat measures. Unfortunately, Rockstar never delivered, which left me feeling frustrated. Still, it's true that the modders have made the experience quite engaging.
