Hey there! I’m excited about the MSI Z490 MPG gaming edge Wi-Fi. Two quick questions: first, what are your thoughts on it? As a general motherboard plus someone who doesn’t overdo it, I’m just a bit curious—will it support PCIe 4.0? Since other boards like Gigabyte’s Void G are bragging about future readiness, I’m wondering if this one will be too?

It's a solid 200-dollar build, nothing major is missing and it should work well with an overclocked 10900k. 2. The only missing part is the PCIE Gen 4 drivers, which enhance the Gen 4 signals. Otherwise, the board technically supports Gen 4, though right now it can't due to Comet Lake chips not being compatible. If you opt for an 11th generation Intel processor, Gen 4 will run smoothly on this board since those CPUs are Gen 4 compatible.

You don't need it unless you specifically want the Vision G over the Gaming Edge Wifi, both options are solid boards.

I really don’t think what I need is a good gaming PC that’s strong, has solid graphics cards, plenty of RAM, and comes with PCIe 4 support. Since MSI didn’t mention it and Gigabyte wasn’t clear, I was wondering if I should focus on Vision.
