Leak of Halo Online build footage surfaced recently.
As reported online, a series of the Russian "Halo Online" builds has been shared. I decided to try one myself, and based on the gameplay in the videos below, it feels like a mix of Halo 3 and Halo 4 skins. This suggests the platform is ready for Halo releases on PC. It could signal a move into the PC market with Halo titles. Perhaps they’re avoiding another console generation due to past losses. I’m not thrilled about the FTP version; I’d prefer a proper Halo experience. Also, forgive the awkward map transitions—I had to use third-party tools to load them properly. Please see the attached links for the footage:

If you want to experience it yourself, here’s a starting link: http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm?page...icID=47969
It offers a customizable FOV slider, adjustable resolution and quality settings, and the option to rekey the device.
The standard options include a fov slider reaching 90 degrees, resolution controls, low-to-high adjustments, and key rebinding. There’s no AA setting—just a dedicated button. For better visuals, you could adjust these in the Nvidia control panel or AMD tools. Should have explored the settings... sorry.
Hex editing is functioning properly. That’s a Warthog equipped with a Scorpion turret—why not? Here’s something for everyone.
It just took some time. Regarding the UI, I managed to get it functioning. For local matches, yes—Hamachi works too.
I just had an idea that could be quite bold. Halo Online uses Halo 3's engine, and when you load maps manually, it behaves like a singleplayer session. I gathered all of Halo 3’s singleplayer files and wondered if it might be feasible to import those maps into Halo Online, force-load them, and run the multiplayer campaign or any other map. I think I’m onto something. If it doesn’t work, I’ll reach out to someone with deep modding experience in Halo 3. Here are all the maps files. I also sent a message to one of the Halo 3 modders—Lord Zedd—and he replied promptly, sharing some insights.
This game supports free-to-play, which is acceptable... However, I notice a link labeled "advanced research." It’s likely there, and probably contains all the premium features.
