I played Mass Effect: Legendary Edition last night on Steam and struggled to keep it running for 6 to 10 hours. EA support was unreachable no matter what I tried. When I finally got to an email address, they told me it auto-closed unless I clicked resume. Clicking resume led me to a self-help section. It seems EA has cut all customer service support. Even on the EA answers forum, admins aren’t responding. My main request is help—please assist so I can enjoy my game. I believe people should avoid EA if they won’t fix their users’ issues. They used to have great support, but it’s clearly changed. The problem message says the game can’t launch and running as admin gave me this error.
I purchased the game on Steam, not G2A, and I didn't pirate it either.
I understand this might seem a bit silly, but I don’t have a luxurious lifestyle. This was just extra cash from my paycheck. If I want a refund, I’d have to wait a week for it to arrive and I’m unsure when the sale will end, so I might not be able to use it right away.
Consider giving EA more time to address your concerns. Tech firms typically take their time with responses. I believe Steam offers a 14-day refund window, potentially extended if you haven’t played much. I’m reviewing the screenshot you shared and noticed the background might be unclear. Are you launching the game through Steam because that’s where you bought it? You’ll need both Steam and Origin active to play. Also, ensure your EA account is linked in Origin if you have multiple accounts. You might already be handling these steps. Don’t stress over this specific promotion—this is the standard price when the game is on sale. Steam usually runs promotions roughly every two months, and sometimes randomly for certain titles. Stay calm. No single transaction on Steam changes that way.
They use an email address or online form to connect, and they also offer live support through a chat feature that works around the clock.
