Launch Windows 10 directly from an SSD device.
I replace the existing Windows 10 on my SSD with a fresh installation, but also upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my HDD, resulting in two separate Windows 10 setups. I only need to start with Windows 10 on the SSD and don’t want to interact with the HDD version. My BIOS is configured to boot from the SSD first, yet Windows still prompts me to select a drive.
Open command prompt as administrator, enter "msconfig", press enter, navigate to the "boot" section, remove any entry without "current"
