I explored the Windows 10 update settings and discovered ways to restrict how many updates you install. I navigated by pressing the Windows key, selecting Settings, then going to the Windows Update section. There were options like Advanced Options and Delivery Optimization, but I wasn’t sure how to adjust download settings. You mentioned turning off downloads from other PCs—did you find a similar feature there?

You're unable to do this. Microsoft's update will apply to your device regardless of your wishes. To stop it, disconnect your computer from the internet.

According to what I understand, only the premium version of Windows 10 allows you to turn off automatic updates, though it's uncertain since the option might be disabled by default. The safest method remains avoiding Windows 10 altogether.

This feature is now disabled for torrenting Windows or apps. Updates will be slower since they depend on Microsoft servers instead of your local connection.
