Hey there, so my friend just called me because he just updated his nvidia drivers on his Asus Strix 2080 ti , he restarted , everything was fine, he was playing a bit , out of nowhere he had a black screen and the pc just stopped showing any image on monitor , he restarted alot of times and he started getting motherboard errors on it's leds on his asus hero 8 , and i think the error was 0D or OD . He shuted down the pc , turned off all pheriperals and power supply , he connected a simple keyboard and connected to his tv , and he got a post error saying he did a unexpected reboot and sent him to the BIOS, bios was fine, he restarted the pc and as soon as his ROG icon shows after bios , the screen started to show alot of green horizontal stripes , when his windows loaded geforce experiencie didnt open and the sound drivers also didnt work, there was no sound being played. He shut down his pc, did a force clean on his drives to install new windows, he did the setup no problems no green stripes, he starts the pc again, donwloads the usual pc drivers, he tries to download geforece experience and it says the download fails , he finishes windows updates , he restarts pc again , he tries to install geforce experience and it still doesnt work, he downloads the drivers from the nvidea site, installs and restarts, and he notices that he cant change resulition and he cant move/change anything , he cant acess any location of any drivers that might exist. He also says that on his TV the green stripes only showed while installing windows and after post until he reaches windows. If he uses his usual monitor as soon as he reaches post its all green stripes until windows and while in windows he also has them. Does any one has any idea what this might be or how to solve this? My friend is gonna RMA his graphic card just to be sure. He also told me that when he uses his old GPU: GTX 750 TI pc works fine, he can change resulution and the base drivers have no problems. His specs: Motherboard : Asus Hero VIII X570 CPU : AMD 3900X GPU : ASUS STRIX 2080 TI RAM : 32 GB 8X4 TRIDENT Z GSKILL PSU : 850 PLAT SEASONIC PRIME

I’m the person posting this. I’ve been playing since it launched. Note: Now that you mentioned that, someone else who plays with me started noticing some green lines in OW2… Updated: I spoke with another player experiencing similar problems in Cyberpunk. Edited October 13, 2022 by callme117
