Well champ unless it's user error (which I doubt since you said you reinstalled the cooler several times), I'm out of ideas, especially after you said you had a bsod with only a -0.13 offset. I definitely need to get my hands on some new hardware to experiment with it. My knowledge from my dated sandy bridge platform is starting to apply less and less to new hardware.

I also had a tailored fan curve that kept the AIO CPU fans at full speed—because the noise was excessive. The pump fan operates at maximum as well; I manage fan settings through the BIOS. This was a unique configuration.

Activate maximum performance mode and execute the stress tests once more.

The only BIOS settings applied were the XMP profile 1. All other changes were not made.

No success. Just louder and ironically one core hit 100°C in XTU.

It's still useful data. I suspect the problem lies with your AIO. As mentioned in a prior message, the pump RPM seemed normal, but there could be insufficient fluid flow or a malfunctioning pump. Replacing it under warranty should resolve the issue.

I’ll make sure to update the post after swapping the AIO. It seems the cooling issue might be the cause, especially since the thermal throttling isn’t matching the stress test results. Out of about seven tests today, three had throttling. I’m assuming the PC is getting enough airflow between runs so it doesn’t spike. Who knows? The replacement could take up to four weeks, which means I might end up buying an Arctic Freezer 2 420 instead.

The remaining paste in the center suggests the pressure isn’t sufficient for the mount.

It might be a chance. I’m not sure how much more I can push it without damaging it. You’re right, after removing the block, image 2 becomes clear. My opinion was there wasn’t enough paste left on the top and bottom, so I applied a full coat, which matches what you see in image 1.
