Recent updates for Windows 11 on ARM chips are being announced. By late 2025, AVX and AVX2 support should be available, possibly earlier. Anti-cheat systems are improving, making Fortnite the only exception now but allowing smoother updates for other games. Qualcomm is partnering with anti-cheat firms such as Tencent’s Anti-Cheat Expert, Roblox’s Hyperion, Denuvo, InProtect GameGuard, Uncheater, and BattleEye to expand multiplayer options on Windows for ARM devices. The Adreno GPU panel has been enhanced to work with the Snapdragon control panel. The Xbox app can now install ARM64 games on Snapdragon devices. I’ll refresh this post when new developments arise, such as AVX games launching, performance boosts, or other changes.

This aligns humorously with recent updates about Valve's ARM compatibility layer and Tuxedo's announcements. https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Disco...-Elite-SoC. Tuxedo aimed to launch a Snapdragon X Linux laptop but has postponed it due to challenges in securing chipset and driver support within a timely period. We'll keep an eye on whether they succeed with the next-gen version, especially after Valve demonstrated FEX's ability to run x86 Windows apps on ARM devices.

So far, full compatibility remains a challenge from the hardware side and software side for many major titles. While both show around 90% support, this might not reflect the newest releases or top-selling games. Developers will need to focus on these areas.

Progress always comes, and backing the underdog brings a sense of satisfaction. It's encouraging to see more action now than with Mac gaming...
