Do you know if there are any new BIOS updates for the MACHINIST b450m? Your PC has been acting up since you installed it, and you're unsure how to fix it. Since your BIOS is from 2023, that might be the issue, but I haven’t found any updates for this specific motherboard. If not, anyone have suggestions to resolve the problem (like BSOs, black screens, freezing)? The crashes happen constantly, especially when playing games, and they seem worse on Steam than on Epic Games. You’ve run memory tests with MemTest86 and storage checks show everything is fine.

Follow standard steps. Disconnect non-essential components. Reset CMOS. Run without overclocking and DOCP. Test various RAM modules and slots. If your CPU includes an integrated GPU, disable the GPU. Consider that the motherboard may be an off-brand AliExpress product. Locating the BIOS could be difficult; check if updates are available or if a release is planned. Reach out to the board seller for assistance.

Consider purchasing a quality motherboard if everything else goes wrong. That might seem a bit risky, but it's wise to check with the seller first!
