Looking to boost your RAM for editing or gaming. Cas latency isn’t a huge deal compared to the benefits of more memory. What RAM sizes are popular? People often go with 32GB to 64GB depending on their needs.

Are you running Ryzen? If yes, apply the Ryzen overclocking tool to achieve optimal performance. CAS latency is merely a timing delay, it doesn't significantly impact speed as long as your RAM operates smoothly at the configured rates.

False, the boost in performance mainly comes from lower latency and quicker speeds. At least up to 3800MHz max is recommended, so a 3600MHz CL16 or closer would be ideal.

2x16 or 4x16 is the standard choice, but I’d recommend 4x8 cl14 for better performance.

I mainly watch tech YouTubers. That’s not accurate. Check the benchmarks. A difference under 1 fps in games is typical, even with RAM speeds at 4400mhz.

Initial frequency at 4400MHz isn't fixed to the IF. Stable frequencies work better. Perhaps you should review more videos since your understanding is off.
