No one seems to be asking about that specific issue, but given your setup, a 730ms ping could definitely impact performance on Elder Scrolls online. Satellite connections often add extra delay, making it hard to play smoothly even with fast download speeds.

If your ping is 730ms, it’s likely time to upgrade your connection instead of using ESO. This could seriously affect gameplay, particularly in competitive modes like PVP and PVE.

Absolutely, that's true. It's especially noticeable because it leans a lot on competitive play.

I truly believe a faster internet connection would be ideal. However, I'm located in a remote area, so this is the best I can do. Appreciate your assistance!

Essentially, as long as the link stays stable without drops or interruptions, everything should work. Issues only arise when the connection becomes unreliable, causing unexpected jumps or delays. This advice comes from around two decades of experience with poor internet and various alternatives to wired setups (currently LTE is the best option).

Which server should we use? EU or US? Which is nearest to you? Are you on a satellite since the ping is unusually high, are you sure?

That's right, I'm connected to satellites. My latency comes from the US servers in Titanfall, but I also have a connection from Texas.

Choose a cable connection, any type. Or perhaps a mobile device with a 4G/3G hotspot—usually that’s the best choice for someone living on an island in the middle of the ocean.
