Lately my PC has been acting strange.

I’ve had my PC a good few years now and recently started getting this on start up it will switch on then turn off then back on. Then this screen. Any help on how to fix would be great thanks

It seems the system struggles to recall BIOS configurations. Consider replacing the CMOS battery to potentially resolve the issue.

You need a multimeter, voltage meter, or battery tester to inspect the dead CMOS cell (CR2032). If you don’t have one, simply swap it out.

As long as the device stays powered, it doesn’t matter if it’s dead. I used to run PCs without a CMOS battery before. Probably it’s a simple enough solution, so it’s worth a try.
