Windows 10 64 bit experienced a boot failure this morning with a black screen; VGA debug light remained active and the GPU fan didn’t spin. The old card worked after installation, but I updated to the latest driver for Starfield on Friday evening. Played through the night until a single black screen crash occurred, then it rebooted. CMOS was reset and the driver was rolled back, but no improvement. Feeling a bit behind on upgrades... MSI 2070 S Ventus

Do you have another friend's computer you could test it on?

I have an old computer I can dispose of, and I plan to try it out this evening. I’m considering it may be dead because I managed to get everything running with an outdated graphics card.

After two stops the chances suggest you were correct. Womp womp. Drivers shouldn't be able to stop it, though odd occurrences still happen.

I believe the blame lies with Starfield. At least it gives me some comfort.
