Hey there. I don’t see any details about fixing this on the internet. You mentioned adding a photo and noticing your desktop icons have a big frame—anyone have tips on reducing that size? It looks pretty awkward.

Consider using Ctrl+Shift+3 on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, it likely indicates a system tweak tool altered the icon's horizontal border in Windows 10 or an earlier version. You might try reverting those settings, or create a new account, switch to admin privileges, and verify the problem. If the issue persists, transfer all data to the new account, remove the old one, and then link it back to your Microsoft account.
