If the internet goes down, I still need to use Wi-Fi because it connects to a NAS. My Windows 10 laptop disconnects from it after short periods when it detects no connection, stopping any video or audio playback repeatedly. Possible fixes?

Turn off your network adapter's power-saving feature. Ensure it’s the only one you’ve saved a password for; otherwise, the laptop could switch between Wi-Fi networks. Update the drivers for your network adapter. Consider investing in a switch and connecting LAN devices directly via cables—wireless connections are generally less stable than Ethernet.
