I had a new Asus ROG Strix computer, but it stopped working after I left it sitting on the charger all night. This morning when I turned it back on, the screen went straight to BIOS instead of starting normally. There are no other options for booting because even though I can see two SSD hard drives listed under "Storage," there is nothing to choose from in those menus. If I try to click the boot menu, an empty pop-up appears with only a cancel button. When I go into Advanced Boot Settings, the only option available is to turn off fast boot. In Security and Secure Boot settings, the only choice is to disable that feature too. Even though I removed and put back in my two SSD NVMe drives, nothing helped fix the problem.

Hey there! Have you ever tried this way to fix things? It's a special guide for my ASUS laptop on Windows where I need to go into the recovery factory settings. This is from an official support page made by ASUS in the United States.

Thanks a lot. I tried typing f12 again at first, then f9 while the computer started up. It still went right to BIOS. Could this be okay if the hard drive that holds Windows just broke?
