Laptop A is a 1-year-old MSI machine with a faulty screen running Windows 11.
Laptop B is a brand new MSI model identical to A.
Is it possible to transfer the SSD from A to B while the screen repair is ongoing? Are there any issues to be aware of?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Laptop A is a 1-year-old MSI laptop with a faulty screen running Windows 11.
Laptop B is a brand new MSI laptop identical to Laptop A.
You mentioned they are both MSI models, but we need more details. Be precise about the make, model, and SKU.
Can I transfer the SSD from A to B while fixing the screen on A?
Are there any issues to be aware of?
You might be able to, but you’ll likely need to reinstall the operating system. Failing to do so could cause instability problems.

If the hardware remains identical, instability could arise from other factors such as software issues or environmental conditions.

The original Windows copy will be OEM, linking it to the original motherboard.
