I reinstalled my laptop (2020 Asus g15 10th gen i7, 2070) and have been facing issues with DAW - it's almost not working, with severe stutter. I've tried many fixes but gave up.
I switched to a 2022 g15 (AMD CPU/3070Ti), but it still had the same problems, so I returned it.
I suspect the GPU might be the cause, so I'm open to testing all AMD laptops, especially the 2022 g14 if I can find one.
Are AMD GPU drivers more reliable than Nvidia ones? Are there any music producers using this laptop?
At this stage, I'm leaning toward getting a MacBook, but the gaming performance on my g15 is too poor to continue testing the g14.

My Production HP AMD laptop is working smoothly with a GTX 1650. Rekordbox, Ableton Live, EZDrummer, NI Komplete are all fine. No problems detected. It's clear this isn't an NVidia-related issue. Please confirm you're not installing any unauthorized software.

That's correct.
What specific steps did you take when you reinstalled your laptop?

As I mentioned, it has nothing to do with cracked apps. I experimented with various official and unofficial versions of Windows, tried numerous solutions that are recommended for this issue. The laptop wasn’t functioning properly from the start—Vanilla Reaper, along with a few built-in instruments and effects. This wasn’t related to any applications; if you have anything useful to share, please let me know 😊

My feedback helped eliminate a potential problem.
Are all the laptop drivers and similar software present?
