MSI GT76 with 10700k, 32gb ram, 2080 super, 1tb ssd in raid 0 running windows 10. Suddenly my game starts stuttering randomly right now. Before this it had never broken down like this. In more demanding games like gta 5, the screen freezes and stutters for about 5 seconds then goes back on. It happens every 15 minutes or so. I turned down the cpu and gpu clocks to their lowest settings from msi dragon center but the problem keeps coming up after 20 minutes of playing. The temps are always around mid-80s or 90s max even though the paste was recently changed as it came from warranty a month ago. It broke in service because my mobo changed, and now they sent me back the laptop with speakers all messed up and humming, plus no rgb stripes so no more pretty lights. Could the two m.2 ssds in raid 0 be messing with things? They are about 70% full atm. I heard it is bad to combine two hard drives together? These are 512gb + 512gb that make a 1tb c disk. Idk the brands but theyre the original parts. What should i do? This is making my 3k laptop useless because the games just stop working mid-game and ruin the session. Should I take it back to warranty? I feel like they usually ignore or can't detect gaming stutter issues mostly? Or should I give it a go? Im getting desperate 🙁
