Although it seems the laptop sometimes shows download speeds but then freezes... I’m not sure if the weak Wi-Fi signals are the issue.

Yeah... I get it. Also, does it experience poor Wi-Fi signals? It looks like it drops out after a while—maybe it's the laptop or your internet connection that's the issue.
