The laptop dropped from a height of 2-3 meters. After the incident, it kept showing random blue screens for two months, along with screen flickering whenever you moved it or opened the lid. Eventually, it stopped booting completely and displayed the Asus logo with the message "preparing automatic repair underneath it." I tried booting from various drives—HDD, SSD, M.2—but none worked. I took it to several repair shops: two said the CPU was dead due to the fall, while another suggested it might be an issue with the onboard RAM and offered to replace or disable it. What do you think caused this? Could it be connected to the screen flickering or a monitor cable problem? Since the laptop is relatively new (under 2 years old) and runs an Intel i3 10th generation processor, I only used it for light tasks like browsing and studying. How could such a failure happen so soon?
