Hello, I have an ASUS Vivobook X509JB with a 10th Gen i3 processor. When powered on from battery, it runs fine but drops to just 0.5 GHz and becomes slow or unresponsive for a short time. This happens repeatedly, and restarting seems to fix it temporarily. I found the issue linked to BD PROCHOT’s throttle settings and a forum user, but I’m unsure if there’s a permanent solution without constantly using TS every time I turn on the machine.

Disabling it might speed up battery drain. If you can’t disable it, your battery could be failing, which might explain why you’re not experiencing this issue when plugged in.
