Hi everyone! I purchased a Razer laptop motherboard with an i7 10750h and RTX 2060. My goal is to upgrade it into a compact gaming setup. I’m building the case myself, sourcing heatsinks from a specialized factory. My intention is simply to test the process. If successful, I plan to upgrade to a premium laptop board with a high TDP for its GPU. Most laptops use 5V DC, but you need to verify your specific model's fans. The Noctua NF-F12 5V should work fine on that voltage and won't cause power issues, only changing the fan connector type. Finding details for this setup is rare since people usually run fans at full speed without noticing.

I didn’t expect many fans to be compatible with the motherboard, but I was hoping to power them separately. Thanks a lot—I understand it’s quite special, and I’m aiming for the best possible result. The board hasn’t arrived yet; I’m arranging some heatsinks now. Appreciate the support!
