Hi everyone, I own a laptop that works fine after moving to new devices. It seems the issue started with BIOS settings. At first, I booted it from a USB Windows media and reinstalled Windows, wiping all partitions—BitLocker was mentioned during that process. Now, when I power it on, I’m redirected to a corporate login screen, indicating it’s set up as a company machine. I’m curious if swapping the SSD will fix the problem and let me reinstall Windows. I’ve also heard that using a new SSD might lock it to that machine, making removal difficult. Please let me know if you have any advice.

Switch between versions based on your OS version. If using Windows 10, move to Windows 11; if on Windows 11, switch to Windows 10; for Windows 10, proceed to Windows 11. Keys function similarly across versions. Deleting the SSD partition and rebuilding it doesn’t affect preinstalled software, even if you had to reset everything. This experience happened a few months ago and I handled it without changing the OS. Edited April 8, 2024 by Hellowpplz

It really matters. If Microsoft Intune was configured, you can't delete it from the company PC setup once you connect online. If it's just a BIOS restriction, IT support can remove it, provided the company policy permits. They might also handle the removal in Intune if allowed.
