The NVMe storage doesn't interfere with the GPU. It uses separate chipset lanes—four dedicated paths split into about 20 PCIe lanes within the chipset. These lanes connect to the CPU, so performance might be limited there, but in everyday scenarios where peak speeds aren't critical, it won't significantly impact results.

It seems your setup isn't influenced by the motherboard. The two PCIe x16 ports with metal bands are distinct from the M.2 slots. However, these ports are connected to certain SATA ports and also link to PCIe slots.
