LAN to WAN chaining results in no internet connectivity.
Hi everyone, I'm facing some trouble linking my main router from the ISP (eltext ntu-rg-1421g-wac) to a TP-Link Archer C7 via AC1750. The goal is to use mesh networking on the TP-Link device. The problem is that when I connect from the LAN port of the ISP router to the WAN port on my secondary TP-Link router, I set up a static IP (dynamic also tried). My config looks like this: IP 192.168.1.3, mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1 (ISP), DNS 192.168.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. On the TP-Link admin panel, the internet works fine with a checkmark, my subnet is 192.168.0.x, router is 192.168.0.1, and both have DHCP active. Yet I can't access the internet and can't ping google.com. Could anyone help? I'm really confused. Thanks!
Turn off DHCP on the tp-link device. Ensure only one unit is assigning IP addresses.
