Hello, I reinstalled my PC about three days ago because of a lot of files and possibly viruses. After the reinstall, when I started GTA 5, I noticed my FPS was very low. I have a GTX 970 with 4GB RAM and an i5-2500K processor. I get around 40 to 50 FPS in city mode and as low as 30 FPS when driving. The texture quality is set to high, while the rest uses normal settings, and shadows are off. It’s not even 1080p resolution. I think it might be related to the driver version since I had 411 before and now 418, so I went back to 411 but haven’t seen much improvement. If anyone has suggestions or solutions, I’d really appreciate it. I also play on OC.
you should check your cpu load and ram availability, as the 970 only offers 3.5gb of real usable memory.
