I’ve built a computer for gaming consisting of a GTX 1060 graphics card, a Ryzen 5 2600 processor, and 16 GB of RAM. My frame rate typically ranges from 30 to 60 frames per second, rarely exceeding 60. I consistently average around 45 fps when collecting items, while combat or observing a town results in an average of 30 frames per second. I’m expecting to see at least 60 fps, and my friends are reporting similar experiences with identical hardware configurations.

Is Vsync turned off in the “Video” options? Based on what you’ve said, it appears to be active, which could be causing your frame rate to drop. I’m also playing this game on two computers with identical specifications to yours. After verifying your Vsync settings, you might want to adjust the “Adaptive Resolution FPS Target” slider to a value of 100.

Here’s a helpful video with game configuration suggestions:

I typically experience around 100 frames per second in certain game regions while playing Apex Legends, but frequently encounter difficulties maintaining a steady 60+ fps, particularly during intense combat situations. During these engagements and when exploring textured environments like deserts, my frame rate drops to 40-50 fps. Rainbow Six Siege similarly produces 60-80 fps, despite many other users achieving 144 fps. My graphics card consistently reaches a temperature between 75°C and 80°C, with my graphics card usage peaking at 100% while my central processing unit remains at only 20% during Apex Legends gameplay. I've attempted reinstalling Windows twice, yet the problem persists. I’m seeking assistance in resolving this issue.
