Hi. My computer doesn't support GTA SA. I bought a new machine and attempted to launch some games. I decided to try GTA SA, but even with the lowest settings and resolution, the average frames per second is only 40.
Specs: Pro A8 8650B 4 cores 4 threads 3.2 ghz (up to 3.9)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Integrated R7 graphics (1024 vram)
Before I started playing GTA SA on my laptop - i5 520M (2 cores 4 threads) Intel HD graphics with 64 MB vram and 8 GB DDR3.
- It's a Lenovo ThinkPad T410, and on my old PC - core 2 Duo 2 GB DDR2 and 512 MB 8400 GS. On my laptop, the game ran well (40-50 FPS with lowest settings and max resolution), while on my older PC it performed better (60+ with maximum antialias and resolution).
Now I really don't understand why my new PC can't run GTA SA. I know it has integrated graphics, but it's ten years newer than the game. I think the game might be optimized for older systems. Is there any chance I could play it smoothly?
It could be a fresh start, but the details are still low.
