I was attempting to place a computer in the garage without a tower or wireless setup. It seems technology currently makes that impractical, which surprises me. I considered running Ethernet directly into the garage. Regarding KVM over IP through switches, it’s possible but would require careful configuration. For the WIRED POE camera system, you could connect them straight to the switch in the garage via Ethernet. If this doesn’t work, additional cabling might be needed, though it feels overly complicated for what should be a straightforward project.
