KONAMI has revealed fresh "Silent Hill" titles, bringing back and growing the SILENT HILL series.
Hello everyone,
Have you experienced the original SILENT HILL PC title, or any of its earlier entries in this line of work? If you're drawn to psychological survival horror experiences, then the Silent Hill franchise might already be part of your gaming collection.
In a recent special event, Konami unveiled three fresh entries in the Silent Hill universe: "Silent Hill: Ascension", "Silent Hill: Townfall", and "Silent Hill: f". In addition to the remake of Silent Hill 2, they also teased a new film. We haven’t yet confirmed exact release timelines beyond Ascension.
Townfall is developed by Annapurna Interactive and No Code, a Glasgow-based studio celebrated for its compelling narratives and atmospheric horror design seen in games like Observation and Stories Untold. The trailer highlights a vintage-style television clip filled with tense dialogue and unsettling visuals, marking it as the most traditional Silent Hill title among the three.
The second trailer focused on Ascension, depicting characters exchanging messages to rescue someone and confronting a formidable foe armed with melee weapons. Multiple studios—Behaviour Interactive, Genvid, and Bad Robot Games—are involved in its creation. The developers emphasize it will be a story-driven experience that integrates community interaction, live storytelling, and interactive choices. Players will face decisions that shape the outcome, and the game is slated for a tentative launch in 2023.
Ascension stands out as the least traditional entry yet, but it carries a notable name: JJ Abrams. View: https://youtu.be/DhLSrv4-7Go
Silent Hill f follows suit, promising a fresh direction within the series. Created by Ryūkishi07—a creator renowned for psychological horror and supernatural mysteries in titles such as Observation and Stories Untold—the trailer is striking and intense, showing a young woman being engulfed by the tendrils of a grotesque plant. The YouTube description paints a vivid picture: "Set in 1960s Japan, this game offers a haunting yet beautiful world." The footage escalates dramatically, so viewers are advised to watch carefully—some may find it unsettling, while others will be captivated.
There’s also Silent Hill f, which promises a bold departure. Produced by Ryūkishi07, the project is known for its striking visuals and psychological depth. The trailer is both captivating and disturbing, depicting a young woman consumed from within by the plant’s tendrils. A YouTube preview hints at a 1960s Japanese setting with a haunting atmosphere. The description warns of increasing intensity, suggesting viewers should prepare themselves.
Finally, Silent Hill 2 REMAKE has been announced. Konami revealed the first gameplay footage, confirming development by Bloober Team using Unreal Engine and advanced technologies like Lumen and Nanite. Creative director Mateusz Lenart will oversee the project, aiming to restore the original’s charm while modernizing it for today’s audience. Art director Masahiro Ito shared that he was approached to lead the remake three years prior, and the game will be available on PC as well as Xbox Series X in the future. The official trailer highlights the game’s stunning visuals, with an ETA still under discussion.

I made an adjustment to my original post. The incorrect Silent Hill 2 REMAKE trailer was posted before, but it has now been corrected. Thanks!
