The keyboard in question is the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro.
I accidentally spilled coffee on it a few months back, but I'm uncertain if that was the cause.
When the CPU is working under pressure—such as during a video game—I switch to Chrome and, if I place my cursor on the search bar while alt-tabbing, the keyboard starts typing random characters.
This usually happens with the letter that was just pressed before the alt-tab or immediately after. For example, it might continuously type "PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" or "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" without stopping, only when I disconnect and reconnect the keyboard.
If I try to type "ASD," it produces a different pattern: "qqqqqqqqAqqqqqSqqqqqD".
This behavior persists even during normal alt-tabbing and regular use, except when I switch to a high-load task.
I’ve never experienced this issue after waiting a few seconds after alt-tabbing without typing anything.
I don’t have other keyboards to test this problem.
This has been ongoing for months, and I’ve grown accustomed to unplugging the keyboard whenever it occurs.
I always disconnect it from the side of the case to avoid reaching inside.
I’m running Windows 10.
My system is fairly old.
CPU: AMD FX 8320
Memory: ASUS M5 A97 R2.0
Storage: 1x 1TB WD Blue, 2x Kingston SSD 240GB 2.5" Sata3
GPU: GTX 950
Power Supply: Chieftec ECO Gpe 600W
I attempted various fixes—deleting drivers, changing the USB port—but nothing resolved the issue.
I cleaned up after the coffee spill by using small pieces of toilet paper to block crevices around the key switches, hoping it would prevent liquid from entering.
Could this be related to high voltage effects during heavy system usage that disrupts keyboard function?
I really appreciate this keyboard and am hesitant to replace it.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
I have spilled coffee on it a couple of months ago but I'm not sure if that's the culprit.

The way I cleaned it after my coffee spill is I took small bits of toilet paper and try to stuff them underneath small crevices on key switches (since switches are not hot swappable) and that would pull the liquid out.
I'm going to go as far as assuming that the coffee dried up inside the housing of the key switches and is now causing the switches to bind in place, to explain why you see a repetition of the keystrokes, although you didn't spam the key in question.
I could be wrong though. have you tried taking the keyboard over to a donor system and seen if the issue persists there? If not, then the issue might with your platform, the OS would be the first thing I'd point at, then again that processor doesn't bode well.
Your specs are incomplete, please list them like so:

Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
