Key Problems After Disconnecting and Relocating Your PC – Freezes, Slow Performance, Game Fails to Start
Hey everyone, yesterday I relocated my PC to a new desk and since then, I’ve faced major problems starting games. After reconnecting everything, some titles are incredibly slow—almost like trying to play a recent game on a very old machine. In Call of Duty, the loading screen freezes and then the whole system stops working and needs a full restart. I’ve tried several things: stress tested GPU and CPU, checked and repositioned all cables and parts on the motherboard, reinstalled Windows 11 from scratch, ran a memory diagnostic, updated all drivers. Outside of gaming, the PC runs perfectly fine—no crashes or lag. It looks like this issue started right after the move. The power supply seems to be working correctly (no reboots, stress tests passed), but I’m still stuck. Anyone else had a similar experience? Do you have any tips for further troubleshooting? Thanks for your help!
This problem occurred again immediately after I performed the same action. I double-checked that all my cables were properly connected and reinserted the memory.
