As the title suggests, it's about choosing between two RAM options for my upcoming setup. The price gap in my region is roughly 25$. Both are designed to work with an MSI B550 gaming edge Wi-Fi and a Ryzen 5 5600X, with the RTX 3080 expected to arrive soon. I'm new to this and plan to apply some moderate overclocking, not extreme changes. Any thoughts on these choices?

The trident will operate at a consistent speed matching ryzens mem controller frequency, offering improved performance over quicker RAM.

G.Skill performs optimally with 16-16-16 timings, not the 16-22-22. (the latter is of poor quality RAM)
