I’m preparing my new PC soon, and I spent $1,600 on it. I’m looking into the necessary software and programs—both free and paid options. Any helpful or useful tools, top antivirus solutions, recommended monitors, auto-driver updaters, and more? Also, please note I’m sorry if this answer was already shared before. I set up my workflow with a solid text editor, photo editing tools, Fraps, GeForce Experience, GPU-Z, CPU-Z, and RealTemp initially. Afterward, I added Aida64 or Prime95 for testing.

Check out Ninite, it offers many helpful tools you can install. I’d recommend adding Malwarebytes, RealTemp, CPU-Z, Cleaner, and Avast for extra protection.

My antivirus average, StartIsBack shortcut, HWmonitor, MS Office, Google Chrome, torrent clients for legal downloads like Ubuntu images, 7zip utilities, software I install but likely not needed: ADB and Fastboot drivers for Android modification, Lego Mindstorms NXT for robotics projects.
