KeepassX is asking for a corrupted keyfile or wrong masterkey?
I just reset my old computer running Ubuntu 16.04, but I made a copy of everything first. This machine hasn't been fixed in years because the repositories got messed up. When I tried to use my password manager on this OS, it didn't work—it told me "corrupted keyfile or wrong masterkey." Even when I tested all other backups now that none are connected to this computer anymore, they just won't open. How is this even possible? I've checked the password many times and used the same thing for 10 years ago. Is it true that a newer version of KeepassX has this issue, but not the older one? I remember getting stuck on my Windows computer at some point, too. But now it happens to all my computers.
