If dolphin suits you, that's fine. PCmanfm stands out more. Debating file managers isn't going to help much. Wishing you a pleasant day.

Review packages and set up their installation separately. The kde-applications group mainly serves as a reference. There’s no known alternative package group for KDE Applications. A straightforward approach is to combine pamac-aur with archlinux-appstream-data-pamac and sort by groups to locate what you need. You can also check the official documentation at https://archlinux.org/groups/x86_64/kde-applications/ or explore the meta groups for a structured list found at https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any...ions-meta/. For a broader overview, visit https://apps.kde.org/ and search the repository using keywords with pacman.

Having no working search feature is a major issue for me. The Thunar file manager in ZorinOS Lite is currently my top choice.

Hello! I just finished a clean, simple Debian 11 setup with the terminal. I want to use KDE Plasma as my desktop environment. Here’s what happened:

Running `sudo apt install kde-plasma-desktop --no-install-recommends` used 1230 MB of space.
Then running it again gave 2168 MB. That’s a big difference!

You might want to test KDE Neon. It's a minimal operating system that serves as a development base for KDE.
