Could be a label or sticker on the display indicating the BIOS version. Not certain if Gigabyte does this; I’m aware ASRock does it.

For PC case fans, it connects to the fan header on your motherboard—avoid labeling it as CPU_FAN. If it's a cooler fan, it plugs into the CPU_FAN header.
