I'm setting up a Debian Minecraft server for friends who aren't tech-savvy. They need to join without using the same Wi-Fi network. I've found some online tips but can't change my router settings or install paid tools. I'm looking for a free method to share the server IP or details so they can connect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Without a fixed IP address, you can't connect directly. However, LogMeIn's Hamachi software offers an alternative. You'll need an account, which is free for up to five users on a virtual network. It groups all devices in your Hamachi session onto the same virtual network, letting them reach the Minecraft server through its LAN IP.
